I just wanted to drop you a quick letter to thank you for all that you did for Eric and I, when I realized that what I had to say wouldn't fit nicely into a note card. We REALLY appreciated all that you did fro us; you made our home buying experience a pleasant one.
Our prior home buying experience had left us a bit reluctant to jump back into the game, especially as first time home buyers. After investing one year of our lives in a "contract" with another builder and their real estate agent we were left with nothing but excuses and frustration- no home, no answers, no apology. Essentially we lost one year of our lives and really tested our relationship as well as our faith in people.
We saw your name while looking through listings over the internet and I must admit we debated whether or not we should even call as the real estate agency we dealt with in our prior experience was a RE/MAX office in another part of the state. But we did and it turned out to be the best decision that we had made in a long time.
Your professionalism and courtesy was so far superior to that which we had experienced that I am reluctant to even compare you to them. You ALWAYS returned our phone calls, PROMPTLY, and would quickly track down answers to our questions. You made yourself available, providing several ways for us to get in touch with you at all hours of the day (except Sunday mornings J).
You provide service that others don't. You ask that prospective clients fill out a survey so that you can get a better idea of what they want. You send out a newsletter and provide new listings via email. To you it's not just about the sale, it's about finding the right home for your clients.
Aside from that you went above and beyond the call of duty. When we decided that we wanted to pursue the house you quickly set up a meeting with us. We were so frazzled at that point that we forgot our checkbook and loan commitment letter. You wrote out the deposit for us and rushed it down to the builder's realtor, just beating out another couple and getting us the home that we wanted.
Top to bottom you are the BEST - from the little touches (address labels, scratch tickets, etc.) to the big things (being there at the walk through and closing, running over our deposit). We would recommend you to ANYONE.
Again, thank you for everything. Eric & I love our home. We actually look back at the old experience as a blessing in disguise - we have a better home, in a better town, and couldn't be happier.
